I walk here multiple times a week after work! It's relaxing, beautiful scenery is the perfect end to my work day. If you walk from one end to the other and back it takes about an hour.

Great park. I'd love to see some more trails constructed and extended, but it's still a winner regardless.

It's got a pretty view of the river. And a long path along the river. There's a good play set for kids. And a gift shop that wasn't open on a Sunday. Well, technically it COULD be open, but we had to hunt down the park ranger to come open it. We searched for the museum that was on the park's map. Couldn't find it, but later learned it may be the gift shop. It was closed though.

I love this park. It is quiet and peaceful. It offers hiking trails, canoeing( rental in season or bring your own.) A picnic area suitable for large crowds, a playground for the kiddies and historical perspective on how the river was used for trade. The rangers are friendly and Knowledgable. I have personally been going to this park for over twenty years. The spider Lilly festival draws people from all over.

Interesting Historical architectural landmark. Staff were very informative on the history of the place despite it's only operating for 5 years. Lots of interesting plants animals & fungi. Fairly easy walk, mostly level well groomed trails about 2.5 miles round trip. However wear your repellent. The big life is also plentiful.
